Website Management is our monthly service that includes full access to the Giant Donut Marketing team — developers, strategists, and marketing experts who treat your website like it’s our own. Unlike most “maintenance” plans, we don’t just install updates and hope for the best. A dedicated team member logs into your site every month to handle plugin, theme, and core updates, fix any compatibility issues, and make sure everything is working as it should — from performance to contact forms.

You also get up to three hours of expert development time each month, which you can use for design tweaks, new features, additional development, or anything your business needs, including consults. And with Agency Access, you’re never left wondering who to contact — just call, email, or stop by. No ticketing systems. No red tape. Just real support from real people who know your site inside and out.

Overview of What’s Included

Ongoing Plugin Updates

Our in-house specialist ensures that all plugins are updated monthly to keep your website functioning optimally. We will replace plugins if needed and resolve conflicts as technology changes.

Theme and Core Updates

We ensure that core platform files are up-to-date (WordPress, etc.) and that themes are kept current whenever possible. Updates keep your site secure and ensure maximum compatibility with plugins.

Website Uptime Monitoring

All our monthly management customers benefit from our website uptime monitoring service. This means if your site goes down for any reason, we’ll know about it and can take action to get you back up and running.

Site Fixes / Troubleshooting

Occasionally things break on your site. We’ll fix broken components and troubleshoot issues to keep your site looking good and functioning as it should. Monthly audits also help us identify broken links and other issues that we’ll fix.

Contact Form Testing and Fixes

Contact forms are not guaranteed to continuously work. With various updates and server configuration changes, forms can stop working at any time without notice. We ensure that your customers can reach you.

Spam Filtering/Malware Detection

We provide basic spam filtering for all our monthly customers. We additionally run malware checks and clean up as necessary each month. We’ll work to implement additional measures as needed to help keep your site clean.

Fully Managed Hosting / SSL

Our monthly plans include fully-managed economy hosting as well as an SSL (security) certificate. We keep basic backups of your site to get you back up and running again should your site ever become corrupted. If you have your own hosting, we can help manage that as well. No need to switch!

Agency Access / Phone and Email Support

We like to make sure our monthly customers are well taken care of. We offer priority phone and email support to get you taken care of as quickly as possible. Most simple requests are turned around within 24 hours. No ticketing system — just direct access. Want to visit the office? We welcome drop-ins!

3 Hours of Development Monthly

Need some updates to your site, a new page added, or a new product added to your eCommerce store? All our monthly customers get up to three hours of web design, development, or consult time included as needed. Additional hours are billed at a reduced rate from non-monthly customers or may be included with larger agency plans.

Weekly Site Backups

We automatically back up your website so that we can easily roll back to a previous version of your site or restore your website if it ever becomes corrupted.

Google Search Console

As part of our ongoing services, we keep you connected on Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and Google Tag Manager. This keeps you well positioned to know what's going on with your site or to run Google Ads should you ever want to.

Professional Services

When you need additional marketing services, a website rebuild, or even print design, we can help highlight your brand. As a monthly customer, you enjoy our discounted hourly rates and free basic consults for services.

Do I need a Website Discovery Process before starting monthly services?

Yes — our $2,500 Website Discovery Process is required before we can begin monthly management.

This one-time onboarding process ensures your site is set up for success. It includes:

  • Accessing and documenting all your digital assets (domain, DNS, hosting, Google tools, etc.)
  • Reviewing your current setup for risks, outdated tools, or broken functionality
  • Performing any critical. plugin/theme/core updates (which can be complex if your site is behind).
  • Replacing outdated or broken plugins.
  • Rebuilding forms or core functions if needed.
  • Reviewing short and long term website goals and strategies and potential pain points.
  • Making minor visual or structural updates if appropriate.
  • Installing and configuring Google Analytics 4, Search Console, and Google Tag Manager if not already set up.

Best of all, your Discovery Plan includes two full months of Website Management (a $1,000 value), so you’ll already be covered for the first 60 days of service.

This gives us the time to fully understand your website, your goals, and any quirks in your setup — so when something comes up later, we can act fast and confidently.

We’re happy to assist — but our service model is designed to support clients who want long-term peace of mind and strategic improvement. That’s why we recommend joining our Website Management plan if you’re looking for ongoing help or site reliability.

For one-time requests, we offer limited support depending on team availability:

  • $125/hr (non-management clients)
  • $525 minimum per calendar month for hourly work (non-management clients)

Agency Access is like an extension of your own team who can focus on your organization’s digital needs at a fraction of the cost of hiring someone in-house. That means that instead of having to employ a web developer or designer for your company or organization, you can engage our services each month to ensure that your site is operational, up-to-date and effective.

Our Agency Access has a boutique approach to management and means that you can call or email us each month as needed and one of our dedicated team will personally make sure you’re taken care of — typically in under 4 hours and often in under an hour. You also benefit from the expertise and availability of multiple developers, designers, and marketing specialists on staff — all for the same price.

Your monthly 3 hours can be used for just about anything related to your website content, functionality, or performance — including:

  • Creating new pages or adding sections to existing ones
  • Making seasonal or promotional updates
  • Developing new features or customizing functionality
  • Website content writing and editing
  • Basic digital graphic design (e.g. custom banners or callouts)
  • Website strategy calls or consults
  • Basic Google Analytics or Search Console reviews

Note: Hours can’t be applied to paid advertising (like Google or Facebook Ads), video production, logo design, or other specialized services outside of web management.

If you’re on one of our older Legacy Plans, those only include 1 hour of monthly development — so upgrading means triple the flexibility and support.

If your requested work exceeds your 3 included hours, we’ll let you know before proceeding.

Additional time is billed at $95/hour, and we’ll always get your approval before doing any extra work. You stay in control of your budget — no surprises.

We can also discuss quoting a larger one-time project or upgrade if it makes more sense.
